Gulf Colleges signed a memorandum of understanding with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait
To enhance international partnership programs and support the colleges' leadership vision of creating new opportunities for developing the scientific and academic research system locally, regionally, and internationally, Gulf Colleges signed a cooperation agreement with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait during a visit by the college delegation to Kuwait. The agreement was signed under the patronage of Dr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Fajam, Director of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, and by Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafir Al-Dosari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the colleges, alongside Dr. Falah Al-Harbi, Vice Dean, and Ms. Fatima Al-Anzi.
The Gulf Colleges organized a dialogue session titled "The Role of Health Informatics in Achieving the Ministry of Health’s Vision Derived from Vision 2030"
Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafir Al-Dosari, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Health branch in Hafr Al-Batin and the Hafr Al-Batin Health Cluster, Gulf Colleges organized a dialogue session titled "The Role of Health Informatics in Achieving the Ministry of Health’s Vision Derived from Vision 2030." The session featured participation from Mr. Nasser bin Rashid Al-Safi, Director of the Ministry of Health branch in Hafr Al-Batin, Dr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Muqbil, CEO of the Hafr Al-Batin Health Cluster, and Dr. Sultan bin Saad Al-Harbi, Academic Affairs Director at the colleges. The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafir Al-Dosari, who greeted the participants and attendees. The discussion highlighted the active role of health informatics in achieving Ministry of Health objectives. It also highlighted its importance as a key enabler in the health transformation project through the healthcare model and the e-health initiative. The participants stressed the significance of collaboration between the education sector, represented by the colleges, and the health sector, represented by the Ministry of Health branch in Hafr Al-Batin and the Hafr Al-Batin Health Cluster. This partnership has led to numerous joint initiatives and programs, including the Health Informatics Program in the IT Department at the colleges.

Visit of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees to Hafr Al-Batin University Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafir Al-Dosari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the colleges, visited Hafr Al-Batin University as part of an exchange of expertise and consultations in educational, academic, and research matters. He was welcomed by Professor Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, President of Hafr Al-Batin University, along with the university’s vice-presidents. The meeting aimed to explore ways to enhance collaboration between the two parties and discuss several topics of mutual interest.
Gulf Colleges signed a cooperation memorandum with UNITEN, the Malaysian National Energy University
As part of enhancing the International Partnerships Program and fulfilling the colleges' leadership aspirations to create new opportunities for developing the local, regional, and international academic and research systems, a delegation from Gulf colleges visited the Federation of Malaysia. During this visit, the delegation signed a cooperation memorandum with Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). The agreement was under the patronage and signing of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafir Al-Dosari, General Supervisor of the colleges, and on the Malaysian side, it was signed by Professor Khairul Saleh Sahari, President of UNITEN. The memorandum includes several joint initiatives and programs. These include collaborative research and scientific publications, organizing joint international seminars and conferences, student and faculty exchange programs, and launching scientific programs. Additionally, UNITEN expressed readiness, represented by its president, to provide necessary consultations on renewable energy programs and other engineering specialties. These are programs that the colleges intend to open in the near future. The delegation from the colleges, led by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Zafar Al-Dosari, and Dr. Sultan bin Saad Al-Harbi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, visited various facilities at the university. These facilities included the university's administration building, the College of Engineering, and several scientific laboratories.

Yesterday morning, Thursday, July 4th, 2024, during a visit by a delegation from Gulf Colleges to the Federation of Malaysia, a cooperation agreement was signed between Gulf Colleges and the National University of Malaysia (UKM). The agreement was sponsored and signed by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafir Al-Dosari, the General Supervisor of Gulf Colleges, and was also endorsed by His Excellency Professor Datuk Mohamad Ikhwan, the President of UKM, represented by Professor Datuk Wan Kamal, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UKM.
