Gulf Colleges welcomes the British Accreditation Council (ASIC) team as part of efforts to enhance academic excellence.


As part of Gulf Colleges' commitment to enhancing the quality of education and achieving the highest international academic accreditation standards, the colleges welcomed a delegation from the British Accreditation Council (ASIC). This visit was part of an official assessment to evaluate academic programs and assess the implementation of the accreditation standards set by the council. These standards include: the quality of teaching and learning, student care, resources and facilities, governance and management, quality assurance and continuous improvement, system management, international relations, and social responsibility.

The two-day visit included comprehensive site tours of the colleges' facilities, meetings with college leadership, faculty members, alumni, and employers. Additionally, the delegation attended several academic lectures for students, with a focus on the e-learning system and practices, distance education, and the procedures in place to ensure its quality.

At the end of the visit, the accreditation team was honored by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafar Al-Duhaim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Badr bin Ali Al-Mu'af, Dean of the Colleges, His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al-Harbi, Vice President of the Colleges and Assistant Chairman of the Board of Trustees, along with all college staff. This gesture was a token of gratitude and appreciation for their contributions in supporting the journey of development and academic excellence.
