About the Unit:

The Governance and Compliance Unit at Gulf College was established as an integral part of the college's efforts to enhance transparency. In addition to adhering to local and international regulations, it ensures the application of good governance principles. The unit aims to promote a culture of integrity and accountability and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements. This will contribute to the college's academic and administrative goals.

Applying best practices in governance and compliance to enhance efficiency and transparency. By ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and ensuring that the college's vision and mission are supported.

The objectives of The Governance & Compliance Unit:

  • Enhancing transparency and accountability in academic and administrative processes.
  • Ensuring full compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Improving the quality of education and services provided to students.
  • Strengthening trust between the college, the academic community, and external entities.
  • Providing an educational and administrative environment based on fairness and efficiency.
  • Activating the role of the department council and its committees and developing their efficiency to enhance decision-making mechanisms.
