The Admissions Steps
The admission procedures of The Gulf College students are conducted electronically through the college's student information system. The student information system aims to facilitate the administrative procedures associated with it, ensuring equal admission opportunities for all applicants. The system also assists the student in identifying suitable alternatives among the available programs and specializations, thus saving time and effort without the need to physically visit the college until the certificates are verified.
Phase 1
Before Applying:
- Review the college's specialties and admission requirements and criteria.
- Check the admission calendar and application deadlines.
- Review cases where admission is canceled.
Phase 2
Initial online application, in accordance with the following procedures:
- On the scheduled date for the opening of the admissions portal, applicants must review the Academic Student Guide on the college’s website before accessing the Student Information System.
- The applicant’s identity is verified upon logging into the Gulf College online admissions portal through integration with the National Single Sign-On portal. The applicant enters their national ID number and logs in via the system. After the verification process is complete, the applicant can complete the application procedures and enter the required data into the college’s admissions system.
Phase 3
Interview Procedures:
- After the online admission portal closes for all majors, applicants to departments that require an interview or a language placement test must log in to the Student Information System on the date specified by the college to view the date and location of their interview or test.
- The results of the personal interviews or language proficiency tests will be announced via the Student Information System, and applicants can view them through the system using the email address provided in their application.
Phase 4
Initial Admission:
- Applicants will be notified of their confirmation acceptance via text message to their registered mobile phone number through the college’s student information system, allowing them to proceed to the next stage of the admission process.
Phase 5
Confirmation of Acceptance:
- To complete the admission process, the applicant must pay the applicable tuition fees in accordance with the procedure approved by the college.

A text message (SMS) is sent to the applicant containing their university credentials, including the following:
- University ID number.
- University email address and password.
- Link to the course schedule.
- Link to the Learning Management System User Guide.
- Link to the Student Information System User Guide.
- The applicant logs into their account in the Student Information System using the username and password sent to them to complete the academic procedures.
