About the Program:

The English Language Program at The Gulf College in Hafar Al-Batin aims to provide the job market with specialized professionals in the English language (linguistics and translation). This is achieved by imparting knowledge, skills, and experiences related to the English language. Students are exposed to a diverse range of courses covering linguistic skills, translation skills, and linguistics, complemented by a basic background in English literature and associated branches and cultures that enhance the study of language and translation. The program is facilitated by a competent faculty dedicated to excellence and continuous development in various academic and linguistic aspects.

  Admission Requirements



The program accepts students holding a General Secondary Education Certificate in both scientific and literary tracks, according to the college's admission policy. The admission requirements is summarized as follows:

  • Must hold a high school or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.
  • Must have good conduct and behavior.
  • Must successfully pass any test or personal interview as deemed necessary by the college council.
  • Must be medically fit.
  • Must meet any other conditions specified by the College council based on the recommendation of academic departments and announced before the application deadline.
