The Gulf College introduces bachelor's programs for high school graduates to serve the community and meet the job market's needs.


The Ministry of Education Scholarships

Application for the Ministry of Education scholarship is done according to the ministry's requirements for high school graduates, which can be found by applying through the Ministry of Education website. The student is responsible for following up on the application and it is their responsibility.

Donors can offer scholarships to college students according to their requirements, which can be obtained by visiting the donor's website. It is the student's responsibility to obtain the scholarship or not, provided that it complies with the general requirements of the college. Tuition fees for each academic semester must be paid before it starts to enable the student to register for course credits according to their academic schedule.

  • Saudi nationality.
  • Good conduct and behaviour.
  • The applicant must have a cumulative average of not less than 90% in the general high school certificate, a score of not less than 90% in the achievement test, and a score of not less than 90% in the aptitude test, both tests conducted by the National Center for Assessment.
  • Applicants will be competitively and automatically ranked based on weighted percentages as follows: 30% from the cumulative average of the general high school certificate, 35% from the achievement test score, and 35% from the aptitude test score.
  • The applicant must not have obtained the general high school certificate more than five years ago.
  • The applicant must pass the personal interview for the desired study track.
  • In addition to the above, any other requirements set by the admission and registration unit and recommended by the college's tuition and educational grants committee must be implemented and approved by the college council, with the number of beneficiaries not exceeding 5% of the total number of incoming students to the college.
  • This scholarship is only offered to new students in their first academic year and first semester, then regular tuition fees apply.
  • The college offers scholarships to top-ranking students in the general high school certificate at the level of Hafar Al-Batin province for the first semester only. These scholarships are presented after being reviewed by the college's tuition and educational grants committee, approved by the college council, and are as follows:
  • The top-ranking student in the province, receiving the first place, is granted a 50% tuition fee reduction for the first semester only, based on the academic plan.
  • The second-ranking student in the province is granted a 35% tuition fee reduction for the first semester only, based on the academic plan.
  • The third-ranking student in the province is granted a 25% tuition fee reduction for the first semester only, based on the academic plan.
  • These scholarships are allocated by the college for students who are the children of duty martyrs, with certification from the Saudi Armed Forces, Ministry of Interior, or other relevant ministries. The following conditions must be met for a student to be enrolled in the scholarship for children of duty martyrs during their studies:
  • Presenting a certificate of being covered by the guarantee provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
  • Having a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.50 out of 5.
  • Being regular in attendance and actively participating in activities.
  • No behavioural remarks or warnings.
  • Approval from the Ministry of Education.
  • The college introduces internal scholarships to students during their studies to encourage competition and motivate academic excellence. Students who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply for the scholarship:
  • The student must have good conduct and behaviour at the college.
  • The student must actively participate in activities and positively contribute to the college.
  • The student must have achieved the highest ranking in the college as follows:
    • The first-ranked student is exempted from 50% of the tuition fees for the next semester only (not exceeding the total planned hours for the level), provided that their cumulative GPA is not less than 4.95 out of 5.
    • The second-ranked student is exempted from 40% of the tuition fees for the next semester only (not exceeding the total planned hours for the level), provided that their cumulative GPA is not less than 4.95 out of 5.
    • The third-ranked student is exempted from 30% of the tuition fees for the next semester only (not exceeding the total planned hours for the level), provided that their cumulative GPA is not less than 4.95 out of 5.
  • This is done after a recommendation from the college's tuition and educational grants committee and approval from the college council.
  • The academic excellence scholarship is awarded to a maximum of (3) students in the highest ranking after the results are approved by the college council.
  • The application is submitted by the student, followed by a recommendation from the college's tuition and educational grants committee. The college council makes the final decision.
