The launch of a project to support entrepreneurship and innovation between King Saud University, represented by the Institute of Entrepreneurship, and Gulf Colleges.
As part of enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in line with the research, development, and innovation priorities in the Kingdom, a project was launched to support entrepreneurship and innovation between King Saud University, represented by the Institute of Entrepreneurship, and Gulf Colleges. The event took place at the Institute's headquarters in the King Saud University Technology Valley in Riyadh. The Institute of Entrepreneurship was represented by the Executive Director, Dr. Khaled Al-Hosaini, and the Head of the Business Unit, Dr. Firas Al-Khuder, while Gulf Colleges was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafar Al-Rahim, and the Vice President and Director of Investment Management, Dr. Sultan Al-Harbi.

The first initiative of the project is represented by the Advanced Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation for bachelor’s degree holders. This program offers accredited certificates and high-quality education under the academic supervision of King Saud University, alongside experts in entrepreneurship and innovation. The program provides graduates with professional training opportunities in leading companies and the potential to present their entrepreneurial projects to investment funds with a total value exceeding half a billion riyals. The project also includes a list of partners such as the global Binance Academy, Entrojet, SparksLab, Redesgin Health, Raz Investment Group, and FedTech, in addition to a number of marketing and media companies.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al-Duhaim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, expressed his pride in this unique project, emphasizing that the collaboration with the Institute of Entrepreneurship at King Saud University represents a strategic step toward building an advanced educational environment that focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship. He also highlighted that this partnership contributes to preparing a generation capable of leading the future.
The Executive Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship, Dr. Khaled Al-Hosaini, also praised the vital role of this project in developing high-quality programs that serve the community and contribute to creating a supportive environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that this aligns with the research, development, and innovation priorities in the Kingdom, which represent the primary goal of the Institute of Entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, Dr. Firas Al-Khuder, Head of the Business Unit, emphasized that the project effectively contributes to enhancing entrepreneurship based on innovation and emerging technologies by transforming creative ideas into practical solutions. On his part, Dr. Sultan Al-Harbi, Vice President and Director of Investment Management, noted that the project includes many initiatives, such as the advanced diploma for bachelor’s degree holders and the introductory diploma for high school graduates. This will soon be expanded to include graduate programs in entrepreneurship and innovation. He further emphasized that the project has been developed and designed based on global standards, contributing to achieving the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which focuses on supporting the knowledge economy and empowering youth. The program's initiatives and the official registration opening will be announced on April 13th of this year.
