The Graduate Studies
The Gulf College offers distinguished postgraduate programs designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills necessary for excellence in their fields. These programs are developed according to the highest academic standards to ensure the preparation of qualified leaders capable of meeting the challenges of the modern labor market and contributing effectively to sustainable development. The college provides a Master of Law program (Public Law – Private Law) with distinguished admission requirements. Completion of the degree requires 42 credit hours over four semesters spanning two years, allowing students to gain in-depth understanding of legal concepts and refine their skills to keep pace with developments in the legal field.
Conditions for Admission to Master's Programs:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from a Saudi university or a recognized university.
- Students with a GPA of (very good or higher) in specializations such as (Law, Systems, Rights, Sharia) are accepted into the master's program.
- Students with a GPA of (good) in specializations such as (Law, Systems, Rights, Sharia) are accepted into the master's program after completing supplementary courses for one semester.
- Students with a GPA of (acceptable) in specializations such as (Law, Systems, Rights, Sharia) are accepted into the master's program after completing supplementary courses for two semesters.
- Students with a bachelor's degree in other specializations are accepted into the master's program after completing supplementary courses for two semesters.
- Students with a bachelor's degree in Security and Military Sciences are accepted into the master's program after completing supplementary courses for two semesters, due to their three-year study period in the Security and Military College.
- Compliance with Executive Rule (17) of the regulations, including passing the supplementary course with a GPA of no less than (highly good) on the first attempt, and a cumulative GPA of no less than (very good) in supplementary courses.
- Good conduct and behavior and medical fitness are required.
- Submission of two scientific recommendations from previously taught professors.
- Approval from the employer if the applicant is an employee.
- Passing the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates.
- Passing the specialization test at the college.
- Passing the personal interview conducted by the department.
The Distinguished Learning Experience in the Master of Law Program:
The Master of Law program at Gulf College offers a unique learning experience aimed at enabling students to specialize in either Public Law or Private Law. The program allows students to develop their legal skills through in-depth study and analysis of contemporary legal cases, as well as participation in academic research that enhances critical and strategic thinking. This prepares graduates to effectively tackle modern legal challenges across various sectors.
