Gulf Colleges Organizes a Panel Discussion: "The Role of Tolerance in Promoting Human Values"
Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafer Al-Dosari, and in celebration of International Tolerance Day, Gulf Colleges organized a panel discussion titled "The Role of Tolerance in Promoting Human Values." The event began with an opening speech by the Dean of the College, Dr. Bader bin Ali Al-Shahri, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the significance of observing International Tolerance Day and the college's role in promoting human and ethical values. The discussion addressed three main themes: The Concept of Tolerance from a Religious Perspective: Presented by Dr. Shlash bin Moqbil Al-Dhobaan under "Tolerance in Islam: Its Manifestations and Impact." The Concept of Tolerance and Coexistence from a Psychological Perspective: Delivered by Dr. Salman bin Mutlaq Al-Subaiee. The Concept of Tolerance from a National Perspective: Titled "The Efforts of Saudi Arabia in Promoting Tolerance Values", presented by Dr. Nefoud bint Mansi Al-Anzi. The panel emphasized the importance of tolerance in building cohesive and prosperous societies.
