About the Program:

The Gulf College introduces a bachelor's program in Information Technology for high school graduates, aiming to serve the community and meet the job market's needs. The Information Technology program includes four specialized sub-tracks taught through regular study.

Welcome to the Information Technology Program at Gulf College. On behalf of myself and my colleagues, the faculty and staff of the Information Technology Program, we are delighted to welcome you to our official page, which we hope will be a comprehensive source of information about our programs and activities. The Information Technology Program is one of the leading programs at Gulf College. Established with the founding of the college, we have since worked diligently to provide the best educational and research opportunities for our students. We offer diverse educational programs leading to a Bachelor's degree in multiple tracks, including: Cybersecurity, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Graphic Design, and Multimedia. Our programs feature precise guidance and practical training that help students achieve their goals and develop skills in various fields. We take pride in having a distinguished and specialized faculty dedicated to delivering the highest levels of education and research. We also provide an advanced learning environment equipped with the latest technologies and equipment to ensure an effective and comprehensive learning experience, allowing students to develop their skills, apply concepts, and engage in practical activities with confidence.   Objectives



The Objectives of the Program:

  • Qualifying academically and professionally distinguished personnel for the job market.
  • Enhancing information literacy in accordance with quality and accreditation standards.
  • Providing consultations in the field of information technology.

  Admission Requirements



The program accepts students holding a General Secondary Education Certificate in both scientific and literary tracks, according to the college's admission policy. The admission requirements is summarized as follows:

  • Must hold a high school or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.
  • Must have good conduct and behavior.
  • Must successfully pass any test or personal interview as deemed necessary by the college council.
  • Must be medically fit.
  • Must meet any other conditions specified by the College council based on the recommendation of academic departments and announced before the application deadline.

  Career Opportunities



Occupations and jobs according to the Civil Service classification include:

System Analyst, Network Manager, Software Developer, Computer Systems Consultant, Systems Designer, Database Analyst, Web Developer, Web Application Developer, Web Designer, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Researcher, System Interfaces Specialist, Database Manager.
