About the Unit:
The E-Learning & Online Education Unit has been established at The Gulf College with the aim of providing electronic services to faculty members and students, improving the quality of educational outcomes. This initiative falls within the framework of achieving the strategic goals of the college.
Unit's Vision
Supporting and assisting faculty members in developing courses and instructional units using modern methods and techniques in the field of e-learning, encouraging collaborative work in the development of electronic courses, and ensuring quality through continuous assessment and modification of electronic courses.
Unit's Mission
Providing an interactive learning environment for teaching educational materials digitally over high-quality electronic networks, aiming to achieve and enhance the learning and teaching experience.
Unit's Objectives
The objectives of The E-Learning & Online Education Unit:
- Achieving the college's vision in implementing the plans of the Ministry of Higher Education for education development.
- Establishing a curriculum reference for e-learning at Gulf College to distinguish it from other educational methods.
- Building a standardized system to facilitate the implementation of e-learning at Gulf College.
- Creating mechanisms for promoting e-learning among students and staff at Gulf College.
- Utilizing internal development and opportunities to support and encourage e-learning at Gulf College.
- Encouraging and supporting the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) at Gulf College in online learning environments.
- Enhancing teaching and learning practices among Gulf College communities.
- Offering and increasing the coordination of quality development courses to meet the requirements of Gulf College students.
- Ensuring high-quality standards in e-learning at Gulf College.
- Providing opportunities for diversity in delivering online courses at Gulf College.
