About the Service:
The Scientific Research Platform at The Gulf College offers a service to measure the similarity and citation percentage in research papers prepared for publication using various international platforms in this field. This service reveals the percentage of citations compared to a large number of other scientific research papers available in several international databases. It also measures the similarity percentage in sentences compared to internet sources. After applying for the service, we will determine the extent of compliance of the submitted research with the ethics of scientific research in case of exceeding the supposed similarity, citation, or referencing percentage, which is not supposed to exceed 25%.
Conditions for applying for this service:
- The service is only provided to faculty members at the Gulf College or those in their capacity.
- The research must be attached in full in Microsoft Word format and PDF format is not accepted.
- The research must be complete and finalized, and research under review will not be accepted.
- It is required to add all the names of the contributors in the research when submitting the request.
- The service is available for the same research only twice.
- To request the service, please fill out the appropriate form and send it to the email of the Vice Deanship of Graduate Studies & Scientific Research.
